Deleting a Quote in Progress
Once you submit a quote, you cannot delete that submitted quote. After you submit a quote if you no longer wish to be considered for the solicitation, then you can withdraw your submitted quote (see "Withdrawing a Quote").
If you have a quote in progress (i.e. New Submission in Progress) that you are updating, but decide you do not wish to complete the quote in progress, you can delete the New Submission in Progress.

IMPORTANT The last submitted quote is the quote on record in VIPR. If you have a quote in progress, it will not overwrite the submitted quote until you complete and submit the quote in progress. If you delete a quote that is in progress, the last submitted quote will still be the quote on record in VIPR. |
To delete a quote in progress:
- Click on the My Quotes tab.
- In the table, in the Action column for the quote you have a New Submission in Progress, click on the Delete icon (
) to delete the quote that is in progress.
If you had previously submitted a quote (completed, signed, and submitted), that quote is still the quote on record in VIPR—only the New Submission in Progress will be deleted.
